Здравствуйте наши дорогие зрители! Приближается праздник, который уже стал хорошей традицией в Новейшей истории России — 4 ноября, День народного единства.
Учреждён этот праздник в память о событиях 1612 года, когда народное ополчение под предводительством Козьмы Минина и Дмитрия Пожарского освободило Кремль от польских интервентов. Также этот день называют Днем Казанской иконы Божией Матери, благодаря которой, как считается, ополчению удалось одержать победу.
Как появился День народного единства? Впервые сделать этот день праздником пытался царь Алексей Михайлович. Он постановил отмечать день Казанской иконы Божией Матери не только летом, но и 22 октября по юлианскому календарю (4 ноября по новому стилю). В этот день у него родился первенец Дмитрий Алексеевич. В 1917 году традиция праздновать этот день прекратилась. В 2004 году Госдума приняла поправки в Федеральный закон «О днях воинской славы». Одной из них было введение нового праздника — Дня народного единства.
Основной причиной появления нового праздника называют отмену празднования годовщины Октябрьской революции. Идею сделать 4 ноября праздничным днём высказал Межрелигиозный совет России в сентябре 2004 года. Впервые праздник отметили в 2005 году.
Почему в России отмечают День народного единства? Благодаря усилиям народа и его сплоченности, в стране закончился тяжёлый период Смутного времени. К власти пришёл представитель династии Романовых — Михаил Федорович. Это событие повлияло на ход истории.
